How to install the demo version Chord Player.
Download the file crddm21.zip. This file contains all the files in a compressed form.
Unzip this file into an empty folder.
One of the unzipped files is called setup.exe. In MS Windows Explorer: double click on the file setup.exe to start the installation process. Answer Yes and OK to all the messages that come afterwards.
Once installed you can delete the files that you unzipped in step 2. The installed files are now in the folder c:\Program Files\Chord Player v2.1 demo.
From MS Windows Start button: select program/Chord Player.
The software will start and you will be presented with the "Getting started" chapter in the help file. Follow the instructions in the helpfile.
In some cases you will get the error message "Navigation to the Webpage was canceled" in the help functions. In that case the helpfile is blocked by your firewall. To fix this, find the file chord.chm in the Chordplayer folder, right click on it, select properties and press the unblock button.
It is not advised to install this software in the Program Files folder inVista or Wondows7. If you did you should always start it as administrator (normal users can't write in the Program Files folder).
